Of the buildings along via dell'Amore
Still soaked by the hot sun of the day

Summer always gives new nuance of scents

(The Head with a History)

pause

And for a while I switched my head
With a three thousands old one instead
To catch the dream I came from

I joked with my son taking this shot in the Museum of Stele Statues. The Stele Statues are enigmatic stone sculptures dated between 4 and 1 thousand BC and represent the most important collection of sculptures from prehistoric Europe. This small but impressive museum is hosted in the Pontremoli Castle (North Tuscany).

Picture Perfect #4: Nostalgic

Photo taken in Arezzo - Jan 2013

Pappa col pomodoro (tomato soup) was a poor dish meant to use old bread, now you can find it in many nice and trendy restaurants as the dish of Tuscan tradition.
A nostalgic wish to have such meals like 50 years ago. Nostalgia with taste!
