Give A Little Something

The Winds Beat Soft Wings, And Strayed
(Resting in your lap)

[Photo taken at Villa Borghese, May 2017]

Come on to my house
Come on and do something new
I know you love one person so
Why can't you love two? [Moz]

Hand In Glove

Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand

(And Eternity in an hour)

[Photo taken in Rome - May 2017]

No, it's not like any other love
This one is different, because it's us

I was tired again,
And I tried again
(and now my heart is full) [The Smiths/Moz]

Walk beside me...

...to scold me
(not to guide me)

(Photo taken in Italy - Jan 2017)

I have been thinking what, with my final brain cell,
How time grips you, sliming, in its spell
And before you know, goodbye will be farewell
And you will never see the one you love again

[Moz]

This is the last post I will ever write - Noooooooooooo!
No I've changed my mind again - Ahhhhhhhhh
Goodnight, and thank you :)

I Pini di Roma

A different view, Parco degli Acquedotti
 [Rome, Nov 2016]

Passionate love
In any form
Whether real or a dream

Let's take a break

I say no, you say yes
(and you will change your mind)

 [Trajan's Market, Oct 2016]

I left the South again
I travelled North again
I got confused - I killed a horse

You won't change the way I feel

Sketches of Memories

Time will never wipe you out

(I loved once, I loved twice...)

Come on and do something new
I know you love one person so
Why can't you love two?

A Song at Expo (somehow)

I've got no charm

(Expo Milan 2015, Korea Pavillion)

Tonight I've consumed much more than I can hold,
Oh, this is very clear to you.
And you can tell I have never really loved.
You can tell, by the way, I sleep all day.

Half in hell, half on earth - Persephone

Just another false alarm: the doubt of the dream

("Persephone C", aka The Woman Carrot, by Luigi Serafini - Expo Milan 2015)

In Serafini's nursery there are leaves-cloud sprinkling flowers, leaves-web catching insects. Trees uproot themselves and walk, to go to the shore where they sail flapping its roots as boat propellers.

She used to love me a lot

There's more to life than books, you know. But not much more. [Moz]

(I may restart from where I left...)

[...] I sat down beside her and she smiled
She said where have you been it's been awhile
She was glad to see me
I could almost read her thoughts
She used to love me a lot [...]
[J. Cash]

But I panicked as she turned to walk away

As she went out the door I heard her say
Yes I'm in need of something
Like an excuse to see this shot
But I used to love you a lot

The Stendhal Syndrome

Someday I stopped somewhere to stare art pieces

(Strolling across museums)

In European hushed museums
Will I see you?

Kiss Me Alot

A Memory

(Porta San Sebastiano / Porta Appia)

Kiss me a lot, kiss me a lot
Kiss me all over my face
Kiss me a lot, kiss me a lot
Kiss me all over the place
Kiss me a lot, kiss me a lot
Kiss me all over and then when you've kissed me
Kiss me all over again [Moz]

A Corner of the Venice Lagoon

Venice Lagoon: a quiet spot

(I don't care when or where, I just care that you're there)

A white egret was looking at me for a while...

 then he flew away.

Those lilac flowers in the middle of the water are the Limonium Narbonense (a species of sea lavender), and they are quite common in the Venice lagoon.

And now they walk
Hand in hand, all is planned
With the silent glimpse
I believe that only lovers share
