A Poem at Expo (somehow)

Per trovarti, mio lungo amante, devo cercarti tra le braccia di un’altra o in cima ad Archimede [A. Merini]

(Expo Milan 2015, UK Pavillion)

To find you, my longed-lover,
I have to find you in the arms of another heart
Or on top of this mechanical hive.

She used to love me a lot

There's more to life than books, you know. But not much more. [Moz]

(I may restart from where I left...)

[...] I sat down beside her and she smiled
She said where have you been it's been awhile
She was glad to see me
I could almost read her thoughts
She used to love me a lot [...]
[J. Cash]

But I panicked as she turned to walk away

As she went out the door I heard her say
Yes I'm in need of something
Like an excuse to see this shot
But I used to love you a lot

The man who is staring at his dreams

Anniversary

(Ascolta il passo breve delle cose)

It should be something amazing to have the chance to look at our own dreams.
Anytime we like, like a photo album...

The Stendhal Syndrome

Someday I stopped somewhere to stare art pieces

(Strolling across museums)

In European hushed museums
Will I see you?

Kiss Me Alot, Again

A Memory - Part II

(I stopped here to stare at the horizon)

Love is living two thousand dreams until the sublime kiss

Kiss Me Alot

A Memory

(Porta San Sebastiano / Porta Appia)

Kiss me a lot, kiss me a lot
Kiss me all over my face
Kiss me a lot, kiss me a lot
Kiss me all over the place
Kiss me a lot, kiss me a lot
Kiss me all over and then when you've kissed me
Kiss me all over again [Moz]

A Corner of the Venice Lagoon

Venice Lagoon: a quiet spot

(I don't care when or where, I just care that you're there)

A white egret was looking at me for a while...

 then he flew away.

Those lilac flowers in the middle of the water are the Limonium Narbonense (a species of sea lavender), and they are quite common in the Venice lagoon.
