The kiss becomes sculpture

Let Me Kiss You

(Auguste Rodin in Milan)

[Photo taken in Milan, Jan 2014]

Two thousand years ago
On the banks of Tiber
Two lovers entwined
Sealed their lips with a kiss

The artist hand
Carved that act
On white marble

    1. Who dreamt a dream didn't care if it was real or not. It just was. And it was a real instant, two thousand year ago or maybe tomorrow.
Thank you very much for your comment as a poem, every line is raising a wind that sometimes soothes and sometimes hits...

  2. Nobody else but Rodin could have paid a better homage to that precious moment ...

    1. A kiss is as simple and beautiful as only a piece of art can be :)
